Anti-riot police officers on Tuesday opened fire at a hawker selling face masks at close range along Moi Avenue in Nairobi CBD during the demonstrations calling for the resignation of Deputy Inspector General Eliud Lagat.
In a video circulating widely on social media, two police officers cornered the hawker along Moi Avenue and began raining blows on him.
Armed to the teeth, one of the officers cocked the gun and shot the man before fleeing the scene today.
Following incident, several god samaritans were seen carrying the man to ostensibly save life.
